About our annual event
The Arizona Aloha Festival event began in 1995 at Heritage Square in Phoenix, Arizona. We shared culture, activities, community partners, and vendors for one day only. Since then, we’ve grown into a two-day event and moved to a larger location. Our goal and focus is to stay a free admission family event that brings together the Hawai’i and South Pacific Islander communities to provide awareness and education about culture and heritage.
What to expect
Live Entertainment: We have two full days of performances on our Mountain and Lakeside stages, featuring Hawai’i hula, ‘ori Tahiti, siva Samoa, and other South Pacific Island culture dance. Our stages also welcome live music and other cultural demonstrations.
Vendors: Browse booths with traditional and island lifestyle merchandise items. Find treasures and one-of-a-kind gifts.
Food: Explore different tastes of South Pacific islands cuisines from our amazing variety of food booths.
Hale Mana’o: In this house of learning, we have an intimate oasis with cultural programming both days.
Keiki Activities: We have a variety of cultural activities, games, and crafts for keiki (kids) of all ages to explore and play. All materials are provided.
Aunty Aloha’s Ukulele Corner: Join local ukulele instructors for lessons or participate in kanikapila, with available loaner ukulele!
The Arizona Aloha Festival is an outdoor event with free admission. Our location is in a city park that has some paved sidewalks, but is primarily uneven grass/dirt with small hills. We are a popular event, so crowds are expected.
